Elsner’s Nursery in Macomb, IL is a fifth generation family business. We have been landscaping for over 100 years, since we opened our doors in 1916. Everyone in our family has grown up in the plant nursery: tending, watering, sowing, and culturing plant life from infancy to maturity. What started as a one-man job has evolved into a multi-person operation. All of our employees are devoted to the same end goal that we are –your 100% complete satisfaction.

Even though growing plants is in our blood, new practices and technologies are constantly evolving, and so are we. Not only are we certified nursery professionals, we are also certified in pesticide applications.
We stay on top of the trends, new products, and machinery by attending symposiums and trade shows. Our mission is to always offer our customers the latest, proven methodologies, and specimens for hassle-free, beautiful outdoor spaces.
Quality You Can Rely On
Elsner’s Nursery uses only top-quality products. Yes, our prices are slightly higher than the box stores, but the appearance and life span of our plants are far superior. The box stores purchase their inventory at a significantly lower price point and their plants are often on their last legs. They typically buy from California, where the soil is sand-based and often nutrient deficient.
We only buy plants that were grown locally, so they have a better chance of survival (and they look better). Our plants are disease free, healthy, and guaranteed to establish beautifully in your yard and enhance the landscape for years to come.
